Biography
Morgan Urbanovsky is a recent graduate of East Texas A&M University with an MA in Theatre. Her undergraduate degree was obtained at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi where she earned her B.A. in Theatre, Acting/Directing. She is now a Theatre Teacher at a public charter school in Georgetown, TX and teaches for the Education Department at the Georgetown Palace Theater. Her most recent directing projects include, Stop Kiss and Doubt: A Parable at the Georgetown Palace Theater. Her recent acting credits include The 39 Steps, The Play That Goes Wrong and Around the World in 80 Days.

Her recent fight choreography in the Austin area includes work for In the Heights, Dashing Through the Snow, The Red Velvet Cake War, Deathtrap at the Georgetown Palace Theatre and A Sherlock Holmes Christmas with the Archive Theatre. She currently holds a certification in Single Sword combat, with recommendations in Knife, Unarmed and Rapier & Dagger from the Society of American Fight Directors.

Her undergraduate accomplishments include "Best Senior Capstone" for her direction of Hand to God. She was named "Best Director" of her 2018 graduating class, nominated by her professors. She was chosen out of a competitive field to direct the "Inaugural Seed Project", where one student from the department is chosen to direct a fully funded production with a team of their peers. She pitched a production and directorial concept for Smokefall by Noah Haidle and compelted the project in 2017. She currently holds her MA in Theatre from Texas A&M University - Commerce and will graduate with her MFA in Theater Pedagogy from the University of Idaho in May of 2025.
